Was invited to present my doctoral research for the NIFT hour-themed PAST: FORWARD, Tradition-Transition, and Transmission at JIYO, an outreach event planned to celebrate the ten-year-long journey of the Asian Heritage Foundation from the 30th of March 2019 to 4th of April 2019 at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.

Was invited as one of the key speakers at the first edition of the Ladakh Literature Festival, which took place in Leh from 29th to 31st October 2019. The Ladakh Literature Festival was organised by Jammu & Kashmir Tourism and bought together writers from Ladakh as well as other parts of the country. The focus of the festival was on Himalayan culture, philosophy, art and culinary traditions, wildlife, the environment, and emerging literary and visual forms such as graphic novels and animation.

Was invited for a lecture on the ‘Design Aspects in Manuscriptology’ at B. L. Institute of Indology for All India Basic Level Workshop on Manuscriptology and Palaeography on 23rd Sep 2016

Nominated from NIFT as a Changemaker on the world café conversations on ‘What’s Next: Impact of Design’ 23rd February 2017 at Hyatt Regency, New Delhi. The Changemakers represented the overall group of invited specialists for an enriching dialogue on the impact of design- on society & industry. Designing education with an emphasis on Design for nation-building (through the filter of education) and planning the way forward.

Conducted a workshop to highlight the importance and creation of visual brand language during the Induction programme of designers, merchandisers, and marketing professionals for the Center of Excellence for Khadi (CoEK) team in November 2021. CoEK has been conceived by the Ministry of MSME to address the need of the Khadi & Village Industries (KVIC) in India. The objective is to help Khadi Institutions (KIs) to effectively design, produce and market high quality differentiated khadi products in the Indian and global markets. CoEK is envisaged to be a Center for experimentation, innovation and design for khadi fabrics, apparel, accessories and home fashions. 17th November 2021, NIFT

Was invited to present ‘Scripting the past for the future’ encapsulating the findings of the doctoral research at the Lopez Design Forum, a platform where professionals and designers from different streams come together to present work, network, and find ways of collaborating with each other on 2nd July 2016

Conducted a workshop on the significance of visual brand strategy for Shades of India on 4th March’20. The team included professionals from the department of graphics marketing, visual merchandising and designers of Shades of India. This interactive session yielded wonderful results wherein, the teams established a good understanding of the brand, audiences, understanding competitors, brand language, and ways of generating outstanding creatives aligned with the brand’s values.

Was invited as a Guest Speaker to TLRCONNECT – Ask Me Anything show, scheduled on 26 May 2020, to talk about “The Art of Design”. The show was streamed at LinkedIn, Facebook & Youtube.

The Land of Woven Dreams was an event planned by the Indian embassy in Spain to celebrate the Handlooms Day. Was part of the panel discussion on India’s handloom heritage and developing cooperation between India and Spain through textiles held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Madrid on 7th Aug 22
